They say flip-flops are those expensive slippers which even celebrities wear. Remember those slippers worth thousands of dollars? It was in the news a few years ago and it was owned by a celebrity. It was probably Jennifer Lopez who owns the flip-flops featured in the internet. It was studded with some sort of stones which made it expensive.
Havaianas came up with stone-studded flip-flops design, too. The stones almost looked like diamonds. They were shining, proud of what they were able to add to the simple footwear.
What draws people to these flip-flops that almost made people crazy about them? It could very well be the national footwear due to its popularity. It is probably the comfort of using these flip-flops which made people chose it from shoes. It is best for summer because it is a warm season. During winter, however, it is not good to wear flip-flops because your feet exposed to cold would definitely absorb the cold weather and can make you sick.
In some countries which do not experience winter, spring and fall however, wearing flip-flops whole year round poses no problem to the population’s health. You can actually see photography design of people wearing flip-flops that do not even match their clothes.
Flip-flops have become part of fashion. Because of the stylish flip-flops, people can now afford to wear flip-flops with their best suits while strolling in the malls even if they do not match the suit. It is an “off” in fashion but it is definitely comfortable. And because it is more expensive that the slippers that we used to have, it is also a sort of fashion statement or indication of social status. You can also find these flip-flops inside the bags of people and in their cars. They should be available anytime they need to be free from their high heels. Flip-flops – women’s bestfriend.
